THE "SPOT " FOR REGGAE IN PITTSBURGH

                                                                                                                      
Patron's who remember the days of Champion Sound Thursdays at AVA Lounge can testify .... 


yeah I said testify ....
 
PEOPLE USED TO BE AT CHAMPION SOUNDS RELIGIOUSLY ON THURSDAYS

   .... testify how much fun reggae can be on a thursday in the 'burgh
 
EVERY WEEK WAS A DIFFERENT FLAVOR

(whether it be the obnoxiousness of Vybz Machine OR the great selections made by Dan Dabber with no sound over the mic)
 
VARIETY was a nice feature of the successful event, every week was different and every week was fun. Ava Lounge was also a very cozy venue which made the event that much better.


       OK THE REMINISCING WAS GREAT....

.......but a Beenie man said,

"Bwoy stop live dung inna di past ....  stop from member when ...... " 

you know the rest :)

so let's

  1. stop talking about Champion Sound Thursdays. How about we talk about CHAMPION THURSDAYZ
  2.  Ain't no reggae at AVA anymore .......
                       
 so why aren't we talking about the "SPOT"
 
 "What 'SPOT' is this???" you may reasonably ask

 EVERY THURSDAY IS CHAMPION THURSDAYZ hosted by GANGSTA SHACK
 EVERY THURSDAY THERE IS A GUEST REGGAE DJ
 EVERY THURSDAY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIUOS THURSDAY, THE NEXT THURSDAY
